Another weekend another wedding, this time a little closer to home in Lichfield for the wedding of Jayne and Nicholas

Having scoped the venue on a beautiful sunny day, with the sun streaming through the park and with the beautiful backdrop of the three spires, we were somewhat dismayed to turn up as the heavens opened and the rain lashed down !!!

Managed to get a handful of shots with the groom and his dad before they went in – when the bride arrived with her daughter as bridesmaid……was a bit of a run through the puddles with our ever useful white brollies providing the cover. ( best £10 I ever spent those lol )

Lovely service in Lichfield Registry Office and we were very fortunate that the rain eased a bit after the service to at least grab some shots outside.

For anybody considering that venue ……leave plenty of time for photos, as the opportunities round that area are a plenty. With the park, the bridge, the river and of course the Cathedral itself……on a sunny day, you really could have a field day.

Still with some lovely images in the bag, the bride and groom head off for their quiet reception and we follow along to capture some candid moments
