As a company we work in some amazing venues throughout the year, and Drayton Manor is one of the best in this area.
Today was the day of the beautiful couple Hayley and Adam.
As a couple with a big family and massive circle of friends – it was a very busy and exciting wedding!
We were booked for Bridal Preparations to First Dance. This is a usual package now as loads of clients want their whole day captured.
Bridal Preparations were very relaxed and calm. Considering Hayley was just about to get married, she was not phased at all. Hair and make up were done, dress was laid out and her shoes….. well Hayley’s shoes were fabulous!!
I love it when Bride’s has different colour’s and looks at their wedding.
While I was with the Bride – Andy was getting ready to do some of the Men’s Arrival photos.
Adam has a big group of friends and family so there was quite a large male bridal party. Andy is great with the men and always gets the best of out the photos, making people feel really at ease especially when the Groom’s are normally more nervous than anyone else!
This group of men were brilliant and were really up for a laugh so we got some great images.
Ceremony time!!
The ceremony is always the most emotional part of the day. It doesn’t matter whether it is a church or a civil; this time of day is the most important and what wedding’s are all about.
Hayley and Adam did not stop grinning all the way through the ceremony – you could tell they were made for each other and were looking forward to spending their lives together.
Luckily the registrars in Tamworth are brilliant and allow you to photograph the whole service from the front. This allows us to get some perfects shots of walking down the aisle, ring exchange and those cute moments between the couple.
The Group photos are always fun at Drayton Manor – we get to go on the Theme Park!!!
Once the standard normal family shots are done we get on the gold buggies and get on those rides! Now obviously we aren’t going on the log flume or anything – something a little bit more sedate. Hayley and Adam chose to go on the Carousel for their photographs so we got some perfect pics of them spinning around in a calm but very glamorous style.
Once the wedding party go back inside, we have the pleasure of photographing the speeches, cake cut and first dance. Most of the day’s photography is very natural so we can captures guests reactions as they happen. The speeches are always funny, especially with the best man! The best man at this wedding had A LOT of stories. Some…a little to rude to be repeated!
The end of the night had the Groom and his men playing cricket outside and everyone having a brilliant time.
Weddings like this are always the best as everyone who is there, wants to be there and are supporting the Bride and Groom through one of the best days of their lives. We are always happy when clients choose us to capture these special memories.
