For some reason shooting weddings in Telford has become one of the main destinations on our calendar.
Hardly local when the studio is based in Tamworth
Still Telford offers some amazing venues, like Madeley Court Hotel – now part of the Mercure Group
The hotel itself is a lovely building, with stunning grounds and well laid out as a wedding venue
We shot a couple of weddings there in 2014 and look forward to this venue again on the calendar as we go through this year.
But Madeley Court isn’t the only venue in Telford, we have shot at quite a few others in and around the area and look forward to continuing to do so in 2015
Sophie and Liam was one of our favourites last year – shot in a beautiful church tucked into the side of a hill – the views over the valley were pretty stunning ( well at least they were when we got there…….until the clouds rolled in and the rain lashed down !!! ).
Afterwards they had the reception at a golf club and hotel complex in Telford. A lovely old building overlooks the 18th green and provided the perfect backdrop for the wedding photos, not to mention the views across the rolling hills of the gorge.
Bit of fun then as we accosted a couple of golfers coming off the 18th and “borrowed” a couple of golf clubs – made for some interesting shots of the bride with golf club in hand……….menacingly over her head in the grooms direction.
Still a lovely day and a lovely couple and this is what they had to say
