After the lovely Christmas festivities, its back to it today with the first of a number of portfolio shoots this week.

Always a busy time post Christmas as people look to book in and spend their vouchers that they have purchased in the lead up to the big day. For those still sitting on vouchers, they are valid for 12 months, but book your slots early to avoid delay.

Weekdays are pretty flexible still at the moment, but evenings and weekends are starting to fill up now.

Today sees a bridal pre-shoot which is always fun and I believe she has actually got her dress with her today which will be good to see that. Later in the week I have a maternity “baby bump” booked in – will be the first of those I have ever done…….not normally my bag, so we’ll see how it goes.

The festive period though has been a busy time behind the scenes, with a new member of staff on board for 2014 to take some of the pressure off, i’ve also had chance to look at my marketing. Time well spent re-designing my flyer range and posters and display boards – needed doing, they were nearly 2 years out of date.

A reminder as well for anybody out there that knows somebody who would be prepared to display my posters and flyers in their shops – I do offer a 10% commercial referral scheme, paid either to the business or privately. I have a number of places already signed up and always keen to add more.
