Well after a lovely Christmas and New year break its back to it this morning – first shoot of the year tomorrow a bridal boudoir shoot for a lovely bride getting married in May. follow that with a couple of other family shoots, a maternity shoot for a bride from last year and my first wedding of the year next Saturday in Lichfield – here’s hoping the weather stays nice and dry after some of the horrid weather we’ve had over the past few weeks.

Although I haven’t been shooting, it has been an extremely productive few weeks behind the scenes. All of the new promotional flyers for 2014 are done, ordered and will be ready to go out over the rolling next 6 weeks. Not having done any for some time, id forgotten how much time and effort goes into producing them – still very pleased with the results. Also signed an agreement for a high street shop window in the centre of Tamworth to have a permanent display board right onto the main High Street. If anybody else knows anybody who owns a shop or other outlet that is willing to display for me – I do pay a 10% commission back on all sales generated from that venue.

Also recruited a new member of staff over the Christmas period – been meaning to boost my support staff for some time to assist with shoots and general turnaround times, that will make a big difference this year

And finally……….plans under way for a new studio – a location has been identified and is in early stage discussions, watch this space
